Key Factors When Choosing a Foaming Machine

Choosing a foam machine deserves some thought. Consider the following in order: first, whether the machine meets your processing requirements; second, whether it can be upgraded later by adding components or replacing old parts; and only then, the cost and cost-performance.

Foam machinery determines the shape, specification, size and surface finish of your products. Because it is a specialised, precise and wear-prone steel tool, proper protection is essential. Key points include:

  • Rust prevention: avoid water leakage, condensation, rain and fingerprints that cause rust.
  • Collision prevention: prevent the machine from being hit by broken or un-returned ejector pins.
  • Deburring: prevent burrs caused by cloth wiping, material punching, hand wiping, gate-cutter contact or blade contact.
  • Missing parts: prevent damage from missing tie rods, washers and other parts.
  • Pressure protection: prevent the machine from being crushed by residual products.
  • Low-pressure protection: prevent damage from excessive low-pressure protection pressure.
