High-Pressure vs Low-Pressure Polyurethane Foaming Machines

Different Principles

  • High-pressure: A and B component liquids are metered precisely and stirred at high speed by two high-precision metering pumps, then delivered to the mixing head, where intense mixing makes them spray out evenly to form the product.
  • Low-pressure: has an automatic feeding device for continuous feeding; each A and B tank holds 120 kg of liquid. Tanks have water jackets that heat or cool the liquid via water temperature, plus water and material level sight tubes.

Different Features

  • High-pressure: advanced, reliable and easy-to-operate pouring head, simple maintenance, with three-axis movement (front/back, left/right, up/down).
  • Low-pressure: pouring volume adjustable from zero to maximum with 1% accuracy.

Different Applications

  • High-pressure: car interiors, insulation wall spraying, insulation pipe manufacturing, bicycle and motorcycle seat foam.
  • Low-pressure: widely used in multi-mode continuous production of rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane products such as petrochemical equipment, directly-buried pipes, cold storage, water tanks and instruments.
